UAE condemns Houthi drone attack attempt on Makkah al-Mukarramah

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has strongly reacted to the attempted drone (UAV) attack by the Iran-backed Houthis in Yemen against Makkah al-Mukarramah in Saudi Arabia.
In a statement issued by the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs, it was stated, "We strongly condemn the Houthis' attempt to target Makkah al-Mukarramah in Saudi Arabia using an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV)."
The statement emphasized that the attempt in question is a clear violation of Saudi Arabia's sovereignty and poses a threat to the country's security and stability. It was noted that the UAE supports all measures taken by Saudi Arabia to protect its security and stability.
Saudi Arabia had previously announced that the Houthi drone attack attempt targeting Makkah al-Mukarramah had been thwarted. The attempt to target the holy city drew reactions from Muslim countries, including Turkey.
