The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has condemned Iran's missile attack targeting Turkey.
In a statement issued by the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs, it was recalled that NATO air defense systems destroyed the missile after it entered Turkish airspace, noting that this incident marks the second attempt targeting Turkey in less than a week.
The Ministry described the attack as a "clear violation of state sovereignty" and a threat to regional security, emphasizing that attacks against neighboring and friendly countries are unacceptable.
The Ministry warned that these attacks carry the risk of further escalating tensions in the region.
The Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs had denied that the missile destroyed last week was targeting Turkey. Iran has not yet made a statement regarding the latest missile attack.
