UAE: Iran launched 4 missiles
United Arab Emirates: A fire broke out at an oil facility in Fujairah following a drone attack by Iran. Three of the missiles coming from Iran were destroyed, and one fell into the sea.
A statement was released on the X account of the National Emergency, Crisis and Disaster Management Authority.
"Air defense systems are currently active against a missile threat." the statement said, urging citizens to remain in a safe place and follow warnings from official authorities.
On the other hand, a statement from the UAE Ministry of Defense said, "Four cruise missiles approaching the country from Iran were detected. Three of them were successfully intercepted over the country's territorial waters, and one fell into the sea."
The statement, which noted that the sounds heard in various parts of the country were the result of the successful interception of aerial threats, called on citizens to obtain information from official sources, verify facts, and follow safety procedures when warning messages are received.
The UAE Ministry of Interior had also recently sent warning messages to mobile phones regarding potential missile threats against the country.
