UAV attack on US bases in Iraq and Syria
The Islamic Resistance in Iraq has announced that attacks were carried out against bases belonging to US-led coalition forces in Iraq and Syria.
Attacks on bases belonging to the US-led coalition forces in Iraq and Syria continue. In a statement issued by the Islamic Resistance in Iraq, an umbrella group for pro-Iranian Shiite armed factions, it was reported that an armed unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) attack was carried out against the Ain al-Asad base, which houses US-led coalition forces in Anbar, Iraq.
Additionally, it was announced that a missile attack was carried out in the morning hours against the Conoco Gas Field in Syria, where US forces are stationed.
The Islamic Resistance in Iraq had previously stated that the attacks were carried out in response to the massacres committed by the Zionist regime against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip.
