Following the US, the UK has also imposed sanctions on Jewish settlers involved in acts of violence in the West Bank. In a statement issued by the UK Foreign Office, it was announced that "financial and travel" restrictions have been imposed on 4 Jewish settlers, identifying the sanctioned individuals as Yinon Levi, Moshe Sharvit, Zvi Bar Yosef, and Ely Federman.

The statement noted that Levi and Sharvit threatened Palestinian families with weapons and destroyed property, while Yosef threatened Palestinian families picnicking in the West Bank with weapons, and Federman threatened Palestinian shepherds south of Hebron.

"FORCIBLY REMOVING PALESTINIANS FROM THEIR LAND"

UK Foreign Secretary David Cameron said in a statement, "Today’s sanctions place restrictions on those involved in some of the most egregious abuses of human rights.

We must be clear about what is happening here. Extremist Israeli settlers are often threatening Palestinians, often with weapons, and forcing them off land that is rightfully theirs. This behavior is illegal and unacceptable," he said.

Calling on Israel to take action regarding extremist Jewish settlers, Cameron added, "We are seeing that commitments made are not being fulfilled."

Meanwhile, Levi is also among the 4 Jewish settlers sanctioned by the US.
