The UK Foreign Office has advised against "all but essential travel" to Israel and the occupied Palestinian territories.
In a statement regarding the travel warning, the ministry noted that the Israeli military had "significantly expanded" its operations as of October 27.
The statement, which noted the potential for an increase in rocket attacks and other violent incidents targeting the West Bank, Israel, and the occupied Palestinian territories, included the following: "The UK Foreign Office advises against all but essential travel to Israel and the occupied Palestinian territories."
