British citizens were urged to follow the instructions of British officials and local authorities. The statement also requested that citizens refrain from sharing any information regarding conflicts, recording footage, or sharing any footage that has been recorded.
British citizens were advised to learn the locations of safe points and shelters near their current locations in advance, and to remain indoors or proceed to the nearest designated safe point if instructed to move to a secure location.
The embassy's statement emphasized that security warnings issued by the Saudi Arabian Civil Defense and the Ministry of Interior should also be taken into account.
