Ukraine attacks 2 Russian oil platforms in the Caspian Sea
An official from the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) announced that Ukraine struck two Russian oil platforms in the Caspian Sea, Filanovsky and Korchagin, using UAVs.
Ukraine has targeted two Russian oil platforms located in the Caspian Sea. An official from the SecurityService of Ukraine (SBU) stated that the Russian oil platforms owned by Lukoil,Filanovsky and Korchagin, were targeted by UAVs, noting that critical equipment on both platforms was damaged and production washalted, they claimed.
The Filanovsky oil platform, which is part of Russia'sCaspianoil field, was attacked earlier this week.
Ukraine has carried out numerous UAV attacks on Russian oilfacilities this year in an effort toweaken Russia's ability to finance the war.
