Ukrainian Parliament approves 'economic partnership' agreement with the US!
It has been stated that the Ukrainian Parliament has approved the 'economic partnership' agreement signed between the US and Ukraine on May 1.
Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal noted in a written statement on his Telegram account that a vote was held in parliament for the "economic partnership" agreement signed with the US.
Stating that the Ukrainian Parliament approved the agreement, Shmyhal said, "Together, we have taken an important step toward revitalizing our economy, strengthening Ukraine, and increasing the welfare of the people."
Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Andriy Yermak also provided information on his social media account that 338 deputies voted 'yes' to the agreement.
US-UKRAINE ECONOMIC PARTNERSHIP AGREEMENT
The US and Ukraine had announced that the 'economic partnership' agreement, which also includes the use of rare earth elements, was signed on May 1, 2025, following long negotiations.
The economic partnership agreement in question provides for the establishment of a 'US-Ukraine Reconstruction Investment Fund'.
The 'economic partnership' agreement signed between the two countries will grant the US access to Ukraine's natural resources in exchange for the military and financial support provided to date.
