UN radio announces: Passenger plane crashes in South Sudan

It has been announced that a passenger plane in South Sudan crashed shortly after takeoff. According to authorities, initial investigations have determined that 18 people lost their lives.

Radio Miraya, operated by the United Nations Mission in South Sudan (UNMISS), confirmed that the plane, which took off from the Unity Oilfield in South Sudan's Unity State, crashed shortly after departure.

In Sudan, dozens of people recently lost their lives as a result of a drone terrorist attack on a hospital. No statement has yet been made regarding the cause of the plane crash in South Sudan.

The radio station stated that according to the authorities' initial findings, 18 people died as a result of the crash, and the 3 survivors are in critical condition.
