Unexpected withdrawal from Greenland

The reconnaissance team sent by Germany to Greenland returned home in a surprise move just two days after beginning their mission. According to German media reports, the 15-person team, which included soldiers from the army, air force, and navy, was suddenly recalled without any official notification, despite previous statements suggesting they would stay on the island longer than originally planned.

The German military personnel departed from Nuuk Airport on an Icelandair flight, and no explanation was provided by authorities regarding the reason for the sudden cancellation.
