US and UK launch consecutive airstrikes on Yemen
The US and UK carried out airstrikes on the Yemeni city of Hodeidah just hours apart.
The Houthis (Ansar Allah movement) in Yemen announced that the US and UK have conducted a second airstrike within a few hours on the city of Hodeidah in the west of the country.
According to reports from the Houthi-affiliated Al-Masirah television channel cited by AA, US and UK warplanes targeted the Al-Shabaka area, located south of the port in the Salif district of Hodeidah.
An unnamed source from the Houthis stated that the Al-Shabaka area was targeted by two airstrikes. No information was provided regarding the damage caused by the attacks.
In a statement released by the Houthis earlier in the day, it was reported that US and UK warplanes had carried out an airstrike on the Ras Issa area in the city of Hodeidah.
