US: Strikes conducted against 15 Houthi targets in Yemen
In a statement released by the US Central Command (CENTCOM), it was stated, "CENTCOM forces conducted strikes against 15 Houthi targets in Iranian-backed Houthi-controlled areas in Yemen. These targets included the Houthis' offensive military capabilities."
As Israel's attacks on the Gaza Strip and Lebanon continue, the US is also targeting the Iranian-backed Houthis in Yemen.
In a statement released by the US Central Command (CENTCOM), it was stated, “CENTCOM forces conducted strikes against 15 Houthi targets in Houthi-controlled areas today at approximately 17:00 local time.
These targets included the Houthis' offensive military capabilities.
These actions were taken to protect freedom of navigation and make international waters safer and more secure for US, coalition, and commercial vessels,” the statement said.
