The asylum application of Hanan Elatr, who was married to journalist Jamal Khashoggi, who was murdered 5 years ago at the Saudi Arabian Consulate General in Istanbul, has been accepted by the US.
In its assessment of the murder, American intelligence concluded that the Saudi journalist was killed with the approval of Saudi Arabian Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.
