A US Navy EA-18G Growler fighter jet has crashed in the US state of Washington.
A US Navy EA-18G Growler fighter jet crashed east of Mount Rainier during a training flight in the US state of Washington.
In a statement released by the Navy, it was reported that there were 2 crew members on board the aircraft, and a helicopter-supported search and rescue operation has been launched for the crew.
The statement noted, "As of 7:00 PM on October 15, the status of the two crew members is unknown." The cause of the crash is not yet known.
