US halts bomb shipment to Israel
Bloomberg has claimed that the White House, which stated it does not support the offensive launched by Israel on the Palestinian city of Rafah, has halted a shipment of bombs to the country.
The White House recently announced that it does not support the military operation by Israel, which has been attacking the Palestinian city of Rafah.
According to a report by Bloomberg, a senior official who requested anonymity due to privacy concerns provided details regarding the shipment.
The official claimed that the shipment to Israel consisted of 1,800 bombs weighing 900 kilograms and 1,700 bombs weighing 225 kilograms, stating that they are concerned about how these bombs might be used in densely populated areas.
Suggesting that the US decided to halt the shipment last week after Israel decided to launch a ground offensive on Rafah, the official stated that it remains unclear whether the shipment will be delivered at a later date.
