US-Iran talks conclude: First statement from Araghchi
The US-Iran talks in Geneva have concluded. According to a statement from the Omani Foreign Ministry, the 4th round of talks will take place in Vienna next week.
Omani Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al-Busaidi stated that the 3rd round of negotiations between the US and Iran has concluded, saying, "We have left behind a day in which significant progress was made in the negotiations between the US and Iran.
We will resume negotiations shortly after consultations in the respective capitals.
Technical-level meetings will be held in Vienna next week," he said.
Iranian Foreign Minister Araghchi also commented on the meeting, stating, "It was our most serious discussion with the US." Araghchi further noted that they had conveyed their demand for the lifting of sanctions to the US.
Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi announced that the 4th round of indirect negotiations with the US will be held on March 2 in Vienna, the capital of Austria.
