US media: Iran hit an F-35

As attacks between the US, Israel, and Iran continue, it has been alleged that a US fighter jet sustained damage. Reports in the US media, citing unnamed sources, claimed that a US F-35 fighter jet was damaged in an attack while in Iranian airspace and made an emergency landing at a US airbase in the Middle East.

US Central Command (CENTCOM) spokesperson Tim Hawkins stated that the fifth-generation fighter jet was "conducting a combat mission over Iran" when it was forced to make an emergency landing. Hawkins reported that the aircraft landed safely and that the incident is under investigation. "The aircraft landed safely and the pilot is in stable condition. This incident is being investigated," Hawkins said.

It has not yet been confirmed whether the aircraft was damaged as a result of an Iranian attack.
