US military: Latest wave of strikes against military targets in Iran completed

The US military has provided an update regarding its latest strikes against military targets in Iran. In a statement from the US Central Command (CENTCOM), it was noted that the latest wave of strikes targeting the IRGC's military infrastructure had been completed, stating, "The strikes hit air defense and radar systems, naval assets, mine-laying capabilities, and communication systems belonging to the IRGC."

Emphasizing that these strikes were in retaliation for the IRGC's recent attempts to attack commercial vessels in the Strait of Hormuz and US military personnel, the statement added, "Currently, more than 50,000 US military personnel serving across the Middle East continue to maintain their state of alert, deterrence, and readiness to execute operations directed by the Commander-in-Chief (US President Donald Trump)."

US had announced the launch of new strikes against Iran

In a previous statement from CENTCOM, it was reported that new strikes had been launched against IRGC elements in Iran due to attempted attacks on commercial vessels in the Strait of Hormuz and US troops stationed in the region.
