US military shares photos of aircraft carrier group in the Arabian Sea
In a statement from the US Central Command (CENTCOM), it was stated, "The Abraham Lincoln Carrier Strike Group, accompanied by 2 military supply ships and 2 US Coast Guard vessels, conducted operations in the Arabian Sea today."
While there has been no statement from US officials regarding the indirect US-Iran talks held in Muscat, the capital of Oman, the US Central Command (CENTCOM) has shared photos of the activities of the aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln, which is stationed in the region, in the Arabian Sea.
In a statement made via social media, it was said, "The Abraham Lincoln Carrier Strike Group, accompanied by 2 military supply ships and 2 US Coast Guard vessels, conducted operations in the Arabian Sea today. During this time, aircraft attached to Carrier Air Wing 9 also conducted flights over the group."
The statement concluded with the phrase, "Peace through strength."
