US military strikes boat suspected of carrying drugs in the Caribbean
The US military announced that it carried out an attack on a boat identified as carrying drugs in the Caribbean, stating, "4 male narco-terrorists were killed in this attack."
The US military continues its air strikes against boats suspected of engaging in illegal drug trafficking in the Caribbean.
In a statement from the US Southern Command (SOUTHCOM), it was reported that the joint task force conducting Operation Southern Spear carried out an attack on a boat operated by groups defined as terrorist organizations, under the instructions of SOUTHCOM Commander General Francis L. Donovan.
The statement said, "Full-spectrum systemic pressure is being applied against the cartels.
Intelligence obtained confirmed that the boat in question was navigating a drug trafficking route in the Caribbean and was engaged in drug smuggling activities.
During this operation, 4 male narco-terrorists were killed. No US military personnel were harmed."
