US President Biden to Netanyahu: 'I think what he is doing is a mistake'
US President Joe Biden has described Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's actions in the Gaza Strip as a "mistake."
US President Joe Biden, in an interview with the Spanish-language US network Univision, evaluated the Netanyahu government's stance in Gaza.
Criticizing Netanyahu for his actions in Gaza, Biden stated, "I think what he is doing is a mistake. I don't agree with his approach."
Biden called on Israel to take steps to ensure an immediate ceasefire in Gaza and to allow access to humanitarian aid, saying, "There is no excuse for not providing for the medical and food needs of the people (in Gaza). This needs to be done now."
US President Biden had called on Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu during a phone conversation on April 4 to "ensure an immediate ceasefire in Gaza" and for "Israel to take steps toward a ceasefire in this regard."
