US press reports: Trump's Iran-Kurd plan revealed!

According to information in the US press, it has been alleged that the US Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) is in contact with Kurdish armed groups to support an uprising against the regime in Iran. Multiple sources close to the matter confirmed to the US-based CNN that American intelligence has been making initiatives in this direction.

TRUMP MET WITH HIJRI

According to a high-ranking Iranian Kurdish official, President Donald Trump met with Mustafa Hijri, leader of the Democratic Party of Iranian Kurdistan (KDPI), on Tuesday. In his assessment to CNN, the same official stated that Iranian Kurdish opposition elements are expected to be involved in a ground operation planned to be carried out in western Iran in the coming days.

The source evaluated the current situation with the words, "We think we have a great chance right now," and expressed that the militia forces are expecting support from the US and Israel.

TRAFFIC OF CONTACT WITH IRAQI KURDS

According to a report by US-based Axios, two US officials and a third source close to the talks reported that Trump held a phone call with Iraqi Kurdish leaders on Sunday. It was noted that the discussion covered US military activities in Iran and potential cooperation options.

It was stated that the possibility of using Iraqi Kurdistan as an operational exit point and conducting arms shipments through there is being evaluated in order to implement the plan to provide weapons to Iranian Kurdish groups.

STRATEGIC GOALS ARE BEING DISCUSSED

A person familiar with the talks said that the plan is for Kurdish armed elements to engage in conflict with Iranian security forces to keep them occupied. It was reported that this approach aims to make it easier for unarmed Iranians living in large cities to take to the streets without being targeted, as was the case in the January protests.

Another US official stated that Kurdish groups could weaken the Iranian administration's military capacity by creating instability in the region. It was noted that other scenarios focus on Kurdish elements establishing control in northern Iran to create a buffer zone for Israel.

The CIA did not comment on the allegations in question.
