US retail giant Walmart to cut jobs
It has been reported that Walmart, one of the US's major retail chains, will lay off hundreds of corporate employees.
According to a report by The Wall Street Journal, Walmart Chief People Officer Donna Morris sent a memo to staff detailing the changes being made.
In the memo, Morris stated that the company is making changes that will result in the reduction of hundreds of corporate positions in certain departments.
Morris noted that most employees working remotely, as well as those based in offices in Dallas, Atlanta, and Toronto, are being asked to relocate.
