US Secretary of State Antony Blinken postpones Tel Aviv visit

Israeli media reports state that US Secretary of State Antony Blinken's visit to Tel Aviv, which was planned for this week, has been postponed until Monday.

'TECHNICAL REASONS' CITED FOR POSTPONEMENT

The report noted that the decision to postpone Blinken's visit came after the assassination in which Aruri was killed. On the other hand, unnamed sources speaking to The Jerusalem Post claimed that Blinken's visit was "postponed for technical reasons" and was not related to the Aruri assassination.

Reports in the Israeli army radio, citing unnamed "foreign sources," stated that Aruri was killed in an attack carried out by an unmanned aerial vehicle on a Hamas office in the Lebanese capital, Beirut.

Lebanon's official news agency NNA also announced in its report on the attack that 6 people, including Aruri, had been killed.
