US Secretary of State Antony Blinken has met with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in Israel.
US Secretary of State Antony Blinken has arrived in Israel following his meetings in Egypt.
Blinken met with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in Jerusalem. Blinken and Netanyahu are expected to discuss efforts toward a ceasefire agreement that includes a hostage exchange.
Following his meeting with Netanyahu, Blinken will travel to Tel Aviv to meet with Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant.
Tomorrow, Blinken will meet with Israeli President Isaac Herzog, opposition leader Yair Lapid, and Benny Gantz, the leader of the National Unity Party and member of the Israeli War Cabinet who left the coalition yesterday. Blinken will also meet with the families of US hostages in the Gaza Strip.
