Ceasefire negotiations for the Gaza Strip, which began yesterday in Doha, the capital of Qatar, concluded today. It was stated that the talks, which were held with Israel under the mediation of the US, Qatar, and Egypt but without the participation of Hamas, will resume next week.

Reports in Israeli media indicated that US Secretary of State Antony Blinken will visit Israel on Sunday within the framework of the negotiations.

The report stated that Blinken is expected to meet with Netanyahu on Monday and pressure the Israeli Prime Minister to accept the ceasefire agreement.

STATEMENT FROM HAMAS

In a statement to Reuters regarding the ceasefire negotiations, a Hamas official said, "The information provided regarding the results of the Doha ceasefire talks is not consistent with the latest proposal we made at the beginning of July."

GALLANT SPOKE WITH HIS US COUNTERPART

Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant spoke by phone with US Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin following the talks in Doha. According to a statement issued by the Israeli Ministry of Defense, Gallant emphasized the importance of the ongoing negotiations for the release of hostages and stated that reaching an agreement is "both a moral and strategic imperative." The ministers also discussed ongoing coordination against potential attacks on Israel by Iran and its allies. Gallant thanked the US for the collective deployment of forces that would help prevent a potential Iranian attack.
