US Secretary of State Antony Blinken's Middle East tour details have been finalized.

US State Department Spokesperson Matthew Miller said in a statement that Blinken will visit Egypt, Israel, Jordan, and Qatar as part of his tour between Monday and Wednesday. Miller stated, "The Secretary will discuss with partners the need to reach a ceasefire agreement that secures the release of all hostages."

Noting that the proposal on the table is nearly identical to the one Hamas approved last month, Miller said, "The Secretary will discuss how the ceasefire proposal would benefit both Israelis and Palestinians. He will emphasize that the agreement would alleviate suffering in the Gaza Strip, allow for a significant increase in humanitarian aid, and enable Palestinians to return to their neighborhoods."

"BOTH ISRAELI AND LEBANESE FAMILIES CAN RETURN HOME"

Emphasizing that the agreement would ensure calm along Israel's northern border, Miller said, "This would allow both displaced Israeli and Lebanese families to return to their homes. It would strengthen Israel's long-term security and increase stability in the region by creating conditions for greater integration between Israel and its Arab neighbors."
Stating that Blinken will continue to reiterate the need to prevent further escalation of the conflict in the region, Miller reported that the US Secretary will attend a conference on urgent humanitarian aid to Gaza, co-organized by Jordan, Egypt, and the United Nations (UN), in Amman.
