US statement on Iran threat: 'We see it as real and viable'

The expected retaliatory attack by Iran against Israel has locked eyes on the region.

While the Israeli military continues its preparations against an attack, the US continues to closely monitor the situation in the region.

US National Security Council Coordinator for Strategic Communications John Kirby told reporters, "We still see the threat from Iran as real and viable."

Stating that the US is reviewing the positions of its forces in the region in light of Tehran's threat, Kirby said, "We are monitoring the situation very closely."

TRAVEL WARNING FROM POLAND

In the updated travel list by the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, it was advised not to travel to Israel, the West Bank, Gaza, and Lebanon.

The ministry's statement said, "A sudden escalation in military operations cannot be ruled out, which could cause significant difficulties in leaving these three countries. Any escalation could lead to significant restrictions on air traffic and the inability to cross land border crossings."

RESTRICTION ON TEHRAN FLIGHTS

German airline Lufthansa has extended its flight restriction to Tehran, the capital of Iran, until April 18.

In the statement, it was noted that the airline will not use Iranian airspace during this period. It was stated that the decision was made as a result of security assessments made by the government regarding the situation in the Middle East and assessments made within the framework of their own information.
