US warning to Turkey regarding Hamas! 'Things will not continue as they were'

US State Department Spokesperson Matthew Miller spoke regarding allegations that Hamas leaders have moved to Turkey. Miller said, "We will make it clear to the Turkish government that things cannot continue as they have been regarding Hamas."

The US official stated, "We believe that the leaders of a terrorist organization should not be able to live comfortably anywhere, and that includes in the major cities of one of our key allies."

The spokesperson reminded that there are indictments against Hamas members.

The Israeli press had claimed that the leadership of the Hamas Political Bureau, which has been in Qatar since 2012, had moved to Turkey. An Arab diplomat speaking to the Times of Israel had stated that the Hamas leadership abroad already spends most of their time in Turkey when they are not holding meetings in Qatar.

Foreign Ministry sources, who made a statement on the matter, also denied the allegations that the Hamas Political Bureau had moved to Turkey. The sources speaking on the subject said, "Hamas Political Bureau members visit Turkey from time to time. The allegations that the Hamas Political Bureau has moved to Turkey do not reflect the truth."

In a written statement made by Hamas, it was stated, "Sources within the Hamas movement denied the reports in the Israeli press that Hamas leaders had gone from Qatar to Turkey."
