US warship attacked in the Red Sea
The US Department of Defense announced that an American warship and several commercial vessels were attacked in the Red Sea.
In a written statement from the Pentagon, it was noted that the attacks in the Red Sea may be linked to Israel's attacks on Gaza.
The statement included the following: "We are aware of reports regarding attacks on the USS Carney (destroyer) and commercial vessels in the Red Sea and will share information as it becomes available."
The statement did not share information regarding who carried out the attacks in question.
