Jihadist groups led by Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) have been continuing their attacks against Assad forces in Syria since November 27.
While Anadolu Agency reports that the Assad administration has largely lost control in the capital, Damascus, Reuters has reported that Assad has left Damascus.
