Israel attacks: Claims that Hezbollah's new leader has been killed
Israel has carried out an attack on a building allegedly housing Hashem Safieddine, who is seen as the new leader of Hezbollah.
Having killed Hezbollah leader Nasrallah in an attack a short time ago, Israel has now claimed, in a new attack just days later, that it has also killed Safieddine, who had replaced Nasrallah.
According to a report by Al Arabiya, two Israeli officials speaking to Axios stated:
“Safieddine was in the deepest bunker. The outcome of the attack is not yet clear.”
