Following Hamas's release of 3 Israeli hostages within the framework of the ceasefire and prisoner exchange agreement with Israel, Israel has also taken action. The Israel Prison Service announced that 90 Palestinian prisoners were released from the Ofer Military Prison in the West Bank as part of this process.

According to Palestinian sources, 69 of those released are women, 20 are children, and one is a young adult. Of those who regained their freedom, 78 are from the West Bank and 12 are from East Jerusalem. The evacuation of those leaving the prison by bus was captured on amateur cameras.

HAMAS HAD RELEASED 3 ISRAELIS

The Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, had released 3 Israeli hostages in Gaza as part of the ceasefire and prisoner exchange. The Israeli military announced that the released hostages, Romi Gonen, Emily Damari, and Doron Steinbrecher, had arrived safely in the country. As the first stage of the agreement, Israel fulfilled its commitment to release 90 Palestinian prisoners.
