Moments Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic narrowly escaped death caught on camera

Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic was traveling in his armored official vehicle to visit a village in the north of the country when one of the tires came off while the car was in motion. Following the incident, the driver pulled the car to the side, and no one was injured. Vucic switched to another vehicle and continued his visit program.

In a statement, President Vucic said, "After visiting the village of Melenci, I was heading to the village of Mokrin just before the big rally in Kikinda, and I was in my own vehicle on that road. I will explain it to you in a few sentences. Whether the tire blew out or exploded with all its layers, the competent authorities will determine."

INVESTIGATION LAUNCHED

Vucic stated that his security team is very disciplined and that he was in the lead vehicle of the convoy this time because they routinely change the vehicle order. While Vucic explained that there was nothing to blow out of proportion, the Serbian Ministry of Internal Affairs has launched an investigation into the incident.
