UKRAINE'S ATTACK ON AIRBASES

On June 1, Ukraine launched a drone attack on airbases in the interior regions of Russia, striking more than 40 Russian bombers, including A-50, Tu-95, and Tu-22 M3 aircraft.

Reports based on Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) sources stated that the drones used in the attack on the Russian airbases had been smuggled into Russia beforehand, then hidden in wooden cabins on trucks, and launched at their targets from those trucks.

The reports, which stated that the attack was named "Operation Spider Web," noted that the operation had been planned for 1.5 years and was personally directed by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

It was claimed that the attacks caused 2 billion dollars in damage to Russia.
