Warning from Iran on the Strait of Hormuz: Ships of countries cooperating with the US will face problems
Iranian Army Spokesperson Mohammad Akraminia stated that ships from countries supporting attacks alongside the US will face problems in the Strait of Hormuz.
Iranian Army Spokesperson Mohammad Akraminia has issued a warning via the Strait of Hormuz to countries he alleges are cooperating with the US in attacks against his country.
According to the Fars News Agency, Akraminia stated that some Gulf countries have benefited economically from the Strait of Hormuz for years due to oil and product trade, describing these countries' alignment with the US in attacks against Iran as "unacceptable."
In his statement, Akraminia said, "Countries that support the aggressive and illegal actions of the US will face problems in transit through the Strait of Hormuz. It is not permissible for military equipment to be transported through this strait to be used against the Iranian people."
The Iranian spokesperson's statement has brought the tension regarding navigation security in the Strait of Hormuz, which is of critical importance for global energy transport, back to the agenda.
