Wave of resignations in Israeli Army Spokesperson Daniel Hagari's team
It has been reported that a widespread wave of resignations is occurring among the staff of Israeli Army Spokesperson Daniel Hagari due to the war Israel has been waging in the Gaza Strip since October 7.
A report by Israel's Channel 14 stated, "Moran Katz, the number two in Spokesperson Hagari's team, along with several officials in the information system, have submitted their resignations citing the war in Gaza."
The report noted that Israel Defense Forces International Spokesperson Richard Hecht is also among those who have resigned.
Israeli reports published in recent months indicate deep disagreements between the government and the Israeli army over the management of the war in the Gaza Strip and the post-war plan.
In the attacks Israel has launched on the Gaza Strip since October 7, at least 30,410 Palestinians have been killed, including 13,230 children and 8,860 women, and 71,700 people have been injured.
While it is reported that thousands of bodies remain under the rubble, civilian infrastructure is also being destroyed as hospitals and educational institutions where people have taken shelter are being targeted.
