White House Press Secretary Leavitt: Trump has many options beyond diplomacy

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt made a statement regarding the military tension between the U.S. and Iran during a press briefing held at the White House.

Responding to a question about the meeting expected to be held tomorrow in Oman between U.S. and Iranian delegations, Press Secretary Leavitt emphasized that Trump has expressed his demands toward the Tehran administration very clearly.

Leavitt stated, "The President has taken a very clear stance on zero nuclear capacity and wants to see if an agreement can be reached. As negotiations continue, I would like to remind the Iranian regime that the U.S. President has many options beyond diplomacy."

"The Cuban government should act wisely in its statements regarding Trump"

During the press briefing, the White House Press Secretary also addressed the remarks by Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel, who stated that Cuba is ready to talk with the U.S. but that this must be done without pressure or preconditions.

Leavitt said, "I believe the Cuban government is in its final days and the country is on the verge of collapse. They need to act wisely in their statements regarding the U.S. President. However, as I have mentioned, the President is always willing to engage in diplomacy, and I believe discussions in that direction have been held with the Cuban government."
