White House issues statement on bruising on Trump's hand

Following increased speculation in the media and on social media regarding the bruising on US President Donald Trump's hand, the White House has issued a statement. The White House announced that the bruising on Trump's hand is caused by frequent handshaking and the use of aspirin as part of a standard cardiovascular precaution.

Trump's doctor, Sean Barbabella, stated in his remarks, "This is consistent with mild soft tissue irritation from frequent handshaking and the use of aspirin taken as part of a standard cardiovascular prevention regimen. This is a well-known and harmless side effect of aspirin therapy."

Trump's former doctor, Representative Ronny Jackson, reiterated that Trump is "the healthiest president this country has ever seen."
