White House: 'There is new evidence that Covid-19 was created in a lab'... CIA alleged, Trump supported
The White House has claimed that allegations that Covid-19 leaked from a laboratory in Wuhan, China, have been confirmed.
The U.S. administration has claimed that it has obtained new evidence regarding how the coronavirus pandemic began. White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt stated in a press briefing that allegations that Covid-19 spread from a laboratory in Wuhan, China, have been confirmed.
According to the 'new evidence' claims, which are based on statements by CIA Director John Ratcliffe, the U.S. has obtained the information necessary to blame China.
Supporting Ratcliffe's claims during the press briefing, Leavitt stated the following:
''We thank John Ratcliffe for revealing this truth to the American people. The Biden administration had the opportunity to share this information with the public but chose not to. We now know that these allegations are a confirmed fact.''

Karoline Leavitt was appointed as White House Press Secretary after Trump took office
HAVE TRUMP'S COVID-19 CLAIMS BEEN PROVEN?
U.S. President Donald Trump had made similar claims during his first term in the Oval Office. Trump had alleged that the virus originated from a laboratory in Wuhan and that China had failed to take the necessary precautions. The Chinese government, however, has consistently denied these allegations.
This statement from the White House has reignited international debates regarding the origins of the pandemic. Covid-19 has caused the deaths of more than 7 million people worldwide.
Leavitt added that more information on the matter would emerge over time and that the U.S. would continue to monitor the process closely.
China has not yet responded to the allegations.

When the Covid-19 pandemic began in 2019, Trump blamed China and suggested the virus was artificial. The U.S. President used the term 'China virus' instead of Covid-19
