Who is behind the bomb threats in the US elections? The FBI has named the 'culprit'

The US Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) announced that they are aware of bomb threats targeting polling stations in several states and that it has been determined that most of these threats originated from Russian-based email domains.

In a written statement from the FBI, it was noted that while the threats against polling stations in several states were traced to Russian email domains, investigations conducted so far have determined that none of these threats were "credible."

The statement, which emphasized that the FBI prioritizes election integrity, said, 'We will continue to work in close cooperation with state and local law enforcement to respond to any threats to the elections and to ensure the right of Americans to vote.'

FIVE SEPARATE BOMB THREATS IN GEORGIA

Fulton County Elections Director Nadine Williams stated in a press conference that two different polling stations in the state of Georgia were temporarily evacuated due to 5 bomb threats.

Williams had stated that these threats were determined to be hoaxes.

Stating that the polling stations have resumed operations, Williams noted that an application had been made for these centers to remain open for a longer period.
