World Health Organization (WHO) Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus issued a call regarding the protection of hospitals in the Gaza Strip, where Israeli attacks continue, via his X account. Ghebreyesus stated, "We are deeply concerned about the situation at Al-Shifa Hospital, which puts health workers, patients, and civilians at risk."
In his post, Ghebreyesus noted that hospitals should not be battlefields. He also included the phrases, "Hospitals must be protected. Ceasefire."
