Will a ceasefire be reached? Israeli delegation in Doha

The Egyptian press announced yesterday that negotiations for a ceasefire in Gaza would resume in Doha, the capital of Qatar.

The Israeli negotiating team arrived in Doha, the capital of Qatar, today for talks on a ceasefire in Gaza and the release of hostages.

Mossad Chief David Barnea, Shin Bet Chief Ronen Bar, and Major General Nitzan Alon, a key figure in the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), are leading the Israeli delegation, which is expected to meet with US, Egyptian, and Qatari officials today.
The Egyptian press had announced that the Egyptian delegation would travel to Doha today with the "mission of bridging the differences between Hamas and Israel to reach a ceasefire agreement as soon as possible."

The source stated that "there is agreement on many points" and added that the negotiations would continue in Cairo tomorrow.

Egypt and Qatar are mediating to end the attacks in the conflict between Israel and Hamas, which has been ongoing for 9 months.
