Speaking on the Big Time Podcast hosted by Egyptian journalist Amr Adeeb, the Hollywood star revealed that he read the Holy Quran "from cover to cover."

Recalling the difficult times he has experienced over the last two years, Smith said he turned to spirituality to overcome the challenges he faced.

He described the Quran as "very simple," stating that he "loved" its simplicity.

"It is so clear... it is crystal clear. It eliminates misunderstanding," said Smith, noting that the spirit of the holy book is very beautiful and clear.

Speaking about the Quran, Smith emphasized that the story of the Prophet Moses had a positive impact on him.

"I was amazed to find so many verses about Moses in the Holy Quran," he said.
