South Africa has accused Israel of 'genocide' at the International Court of Justice in The Hague, and Foreign Minister Fidan recently announced that Turkey would intervene in the case against Israel. A statement on the matter has come from the White House.
White House National Security Communications Advisor John Kirby evaluated the agenda regarding the genocide case against Israel at the International Court of Justice in The Hague during a press briefing held via teleconference.
Kirby stated that the US position on the ongoing Israel case at the ICJ is clear and that any comment regarding Ankara's decision belongs to Turkey.
According to a report by Voice of America (VOA), Kirby stated, "The US has a different view on Turkey's intervention in the genocide case filed against Israel, but relations will not be damaged."
