Zelenskyy makes official visit to Saudi Arabia
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with Deputy Governor of Makkah Prince Mishaal bin Abdulaziz in the city of Jeddah as part of his official visit to Saudi Arabia.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has paid a visit to Saudi Arabia for official talks.
The Ukrainian leader was welcomed at King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah, in the Makkah Province, by Deputy Governor of Makkah Prince Mishaal bin Abdulaziz and other officials.
In a statement on his social media account, Zelenskyy said, "I have arrived in Saudi Arabia. Important meetings are planned. We are grateful for the support provided to us and we also support those who are ready to work with us to ensure security."
The Ukrainian leader did not provide any details regarding the meetings expected to take place during his visit.
Zelenskyy's post included images of his meeting with Prince Mishaal.
Zelenskyy is accompanied on his visit to Saudi Arabia by Rustem Umerov, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine.
