Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has made statements regarding the expected meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
Zelenskyy stated that Turkey, Gulf countries, or European nations could host the meeting in question.
Zelenskyy said, "Now, this week there will be contacts with Turkey, there will be contacts with Gulf countries, and there will be contacts with European countries that could host talks with the Russians.
Everything will be prepared at the highest level on our part to end the war."
While Zelenskyy had previously stated he was ready to meet with Putin, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov had stated that there were no preparations for such a meeting.
