Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy made statements regarding Russia's attack on the capital Kyiv. Stating that debris removal efforts are still ongoing in Kyiv following Russia's attack, Zelenskyy said, "According to initial information, the Russians used a ballistic missile produced in North Korea.
Our special services are verifying all the details. If the information that this missile was produced in North Korea is confirmed, it will be further proof of the criminal nature of the alliance between Russia and North Korea.
Together, they are killing people and destroying lives. Russia is constantly using such weapons. In return, North Korea has gained the opportunity to make its weapons more lethal under real combat conditions," he said.
DEATH TOLL IN THE ATTACK RISES TO 12
Emphasizing that no country in the world should be left alone in the face of such threats, Zelenskyy stated that the number of people who lost their lives in the attack carried out by Russia has risen to 12, and that the number of injured has exceeded 100.
"THIS WAR MUST BE ENDED FAIRLY"
Stressing that real pressure must be exerted on Russia for the attacks to end, Zelenskyy said, "Even while international diplomatic efforts to end this war continue, Russia continues to kill civilians. This means that Putin is not afraid. The attacks must be stopped completely and unconditionally, and Russia must accept this. This war must be ended fairly. We must strengthen our air defense to truly guarantee the safety of our people," he said.
