Zelenskyy says 'the truth will come out': Targets North Korea

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced that the investigation process for North Korean soldiers captured by his army is ongoing. Sharing footage of the captured soldiers, Zelenskyy stated that after the interrogation, the facts regarding North Korea's involvement in the war would be brought to light.

In his statement, Zelenskyy wrote, 'All the facts regarding North Korea's participation in this war (Russia-Ukraine War) will be revealed.'

In a post on his Telegram account, Zelenskyy shared footage of the North Korean soldiers currently undergoing the investigation process.

CLAIMS OF BEING 'SUBJECTED TO INFORMATION ISOLATION'

In a statement made on January 11, the Ukrainian President announced that his army had captured 2 North Korean soldiers in Russia's Kursk region.

Noting in his post that the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) is continuing its work with the captured North Korean soldiers, Zelenskyy recorded the following statements:

'Intelligence regarding the transfer of these soldiers to Russian territory, their training, and their being subjected to complete information isolation is being confirmed by the testimonies of the prisoners. All the facts regarding North Korea's participation in this war will be revealed.'

North Korean leader Kim Jong-Un and Russian President Vladimir Putin had agreed on the deployment of North Korean soldiers to the Ukrainian front. Kim had stated that their 'support for Russia in the war is absolute' and that 'his soldiers would gain combat experience against NATO.'
